Being new to the area and deciding that we wanted to build rather than buy an existing home, should have been a very stressful time but it turned out to be the best experience ever. To begin with, we fell in love with the Soddy Daisy area and knew immediately where we wanted to build, so the hard question was how to choose a builder? Having never built a new home and hearing such horror stories about not choosing the right contractor, we wanted to do everything we could to make sure we were making an informed decision. First, we toured a lot of homes built buy different contractors. Next, we ask a lot of questions in the community about peoples own experiences with home building and their builders. Lastly, we met with a few builders to see who fit our needs. Tim McClure of McClure Construction was the front runner in all the criteria that we had and was our number one choice. Tim's professionalism, commitment to quality, and attention to detail made us never regret our decision. He guided us through every aspect of the home building process and made it fun and enjoyable. We never felt like a number and were amazed at the personal attention we received from Tim. Also, we love the fact that McClure Construction is made up of good people. Besides Tim, NeeCee, Wes, and Ginger keep everything running smooth. We love our new home and McClure Construction. When someone asks who our builder was, we proudly say Tim McClure. While we have no plans of ever leaving our beautiful home, if we did the hardest question would be where to build not what contractor to use. Tim McClure and McClure Construction were and will always be our first and only choice.

   Tim does it right. His homeowners are his 1st, 2nd and 3rd priorities when it comes to his business. Not only can you rest at ease knowing he scrutinizes the work far deeper than you can (I was a custom builder, previously), he seems on a mission to make each new home BETTER than the last one he built. No matter what has come up during the process, Tim's response is always "I'll make it happen". And he has over and over. I have built a number of homes over the years, and this has been the BEST experience by a long shot.    Tim is very committed to his profession. I particularly liked his way of financing. He required us to pay for the lot, and $5,000 down, then the balance upon completion. This helped us manage our cash flow, since we depended upon the proceeds from the sale of our existing home to finance the bulk of the build.

   We heard about McClure Construction by riding around one day just looking at houses. Their homes are very well constructed and we liked the features very much, this house had everything we were looking for. Tim did everything that my wife wanted done. She was very happy and that made me happy! Tim’s professionalism is excellent, his workman ship is good and he stands behind his work.
